Since 1989 Victory Christian Centre has been on an incredible journey; from humble beginnings; to a church that has grown to touch the lives of many, both locally and overseas through the thousands of dollars given to missions.
We believe in the outpouring of the Holy Spirit on the Day Of Pentecost! We believe the Holy Spirit has been given to us as Christians to empower us both spiritually and naturally. When we are baptised with the Holy Spirit we receive a supernatural prayer language called 'tongues'. The Holy Spirit also gives special abilities (spiritual gifts) for service. At VICTORY we teach people how to live a life empowered by the Holy Spirit.
Together we're reaching people for God and helping them become devoted followers of Christ.
We're here to help you get involved in sharing your faith: We have several training courses (that show you how!), weekly groups, free family fun events and prayer groups that pray for the unchurched.
Prayer is a priority and a privilege. Prayer undergirds everything we do as believers and as a church. Jesus said, My house shall be a house of prayer for all nation. (Matthew 21:13)
Vanessa recently taught an 8 Part Series on, 'The Different Kinds of Prayer' which is available to watch on our VCC You Tube channel.
Our culture is one of "faith" and "victory". We believe God's Word is essential for life transformation. As people learn who they are in Christ and their authority as believers, they will experience victory in all areas of their life and will grow to the fullness of Christ and see God’s plans outworked on earth through them. We teach people that God has made us winners through Jesus Christ so we can choose to use His Word and win, and then help others to win also.
Life is not meant to be lived alone. We were created to experience life with other people, that's why at VICTORY we encourage everyone to become a member of a small group. Our groups meet weekly or fortnightly for fellowship, study of the Word and praying for each other. We continually hear reports of awesome answers to prayer and outstanding miracles that take place in our small groups.
We embrace the 5 New Testament Purposes: Worship, Fellowship, Discipleship, Ministry, Evangelism. We teach the members of our church family how to live a purpose filled life.
We believe there are two groups of covenant people in the Bible – the people of the Abrahamic covenant (Jewish people), and the people of the New Covenant (born again believers in Jesus Christ). We respect both covenant people. VCC financially supports 'For The Protection of Israel'.
Stefan and Vanessa are engaging speakers whose life message is one of our victory in Christ Jesus. They regularly speak at seminars, conferences and help pastors/churches with strategic planning, team building, developing church structure, children's ministry and more.
Vanessa teaches on The Different Kinds of Prayer, Intercession, and Deliverance, How to Walk in our victory in Christ. She ministers powerfully in the area of healing and deliverance.
